We are hiring a customer service representative to manage all incoming company phone calls which includes daily service orders for the Roll-Off Division. You will also be asked to process orders, and modifications in our Software.
Duties will also involve greeting visitors, answering incoming phone calls, purchasing office supplies and taking proper inventory, and suporting our office staff to ensure maximum productivity.
To do well in this role you should be very service oriented, friendly, excited to take care of our customer’s needs and field their requests to the proper person.

We are looking for an experienced Civil Superintendent to join the T. Scherber family.
The Civil Superintendent will lead the successful and safe completion of construction projects on time, within budget, and to the agreed upon contractual standards. As the front-line supervisor of a project or specific operations, they will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, ensuring safety and quality while providing effective leadership to T.Scherber’s foremen, crews, and subcontractors.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 15 years of relevant heavy civil experience, with at least 10 years as a supervisor demonstrating a high level of competency of complex construction practices along with effectively understanding the capabilities of personnel and heavy equipment with the ability to operate equipment as needed.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be detail-oriented, able to manage and communicate effectively with the client's representative and all third-party stakeholders, and capable of competently using computers and project software.
Responsibilities :
Develop and provide weekly construction schedules.
Understand, track, and monitor work to intended production goals, manpower, or equipment.
Monitoring cost control and job costing, quantity reporting, forecasting, and productivity.
Developing, monitoring, and executing the project construction plan and schedule.
Organizing and coordinating all subcontractor activities.
Operation of heavy equipment experience required.
Is active on the job site to interact with subcontractors and validate work in progress
Implement daily/project total goals and budget requirements.
Support a project (or projects) by determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities needed, work schedule, and documenting actual hours worked.
Work with foremen and key personnel to ensure proper care of equipment and the necessary reporting and documentation to maintain equipment.
Understanding of, and adherence to, all site environmental requirements and applicable governing laws.
Managing project close-out; responsible for final inspections, eliminating deficiencies, performing warranty work, and site demobilization.
Running the day-to-day operations on the construction site
Maintaining a safe work site and certify that all company safety protocols are followed
Leading the overall construction effort in accordance with design, quality, and schedule while representing the company with professionalism
Directing and leading the onsite foreman & make onsite decisions
Qualifications :
15+ years in Heavy Civil Construction
Minimum 7+ years of experience as a superintendent/foreman in excavating and embankment, retaining walls, utility installation, small concrete structure installation, and site coordination/logistics.
Demonstrate expertise in all aspects of the construction process including the safe and productive use of heavy equipment.
Able to schedule, lead, supervise, manage, and motivate multiple foremen and crews consisting of at least 10+ total craft employees.
Highly proficient in reading and comprehending project Plans and Specifications.
Ability to remain calm, composed, and behave in a professional manner while working in a high stress environment.
Minimum Physical Requirements :
While performing the duties of this position, the employee must have the ability to:
Drive company pick-up truck to multiple job-sites a day (repetitive foot/ankle/leg movement)
Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time on an active job-site (s).
Operate variety of equipment including but not limited to: Excavator, Dozer, Compactor, Skidloader
Manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of at least ten (25) pounds.
Use repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on a computer and/or related office equipment.
Speak clearly and concisely so listeners can understand; and regularly understand the speech of another person.
